A dream came true!

Domaine Bleu Celeste has recently become our new dream spot. At the end of 2021 we (Chris and Karin) left together with our 3 dogs (Indy, Nanuq and Benthe) the Netherlands and the great adventure started. We have worked hard to make it to our taste. We hope you like it too. 


Why the name Domaine Bleu Celeste? This is very simple. For a while we had our eye on a beautiful old Citroens. We bought these in the autumn of 2020. The color of the 2CV was: you guessed it; Blue Celeste. Which means: “Heavenly Blue”. When our house also had beautiful blue shutters, it was soon clear. This is Domaine Bleu Celeste


We have had many adventures together. Now on to the new adventure that we would like to take you on. Take a look around our website, get to know us a bit and we hope to welcome you soon in beautiful France!



Karin:

It has always been a dream for me; my own bed and breakfast, but never thought this would

become possible. Now the time has come and I can let the guests at Domaine Bleu Celeste

enjoy our beautiful spot. With my background of management experience, things are going well

 from an organizational point of view. I also like to cook, if I take enough time for it. Cozy and fun are at the top of my dictionary, so that our hospitality will always be enjoyable.

 

I also think it would be great fun to organize workshops outside the high season. Plenty of ideas. So follow the news and you will know when we organize them.

We hope that it will be nice and busy during the season so that we can close for a short time in the winter months so that there is enough time to visit all the children (9 children and 2 grandchildren), family and friends in the Netherlands.

Chris:

I can't sit still for very long and that's why our new place is perfect for me. Plenty of mowing on the tractor, setting up the land with beautiful camping spots, and there is still a lot to do at the house.



I like to help Karin cook; desserts are my specialty. I love them, even if I do say so myself. With a piece of land a kitchen and a forest, I certainly don't have time to be bored.

The bar is still to be completed at our Domaine, but I already have many ideas. Although the bar is not ready yet, you can still enjoy a nice drink and a delicious meal on our terrace.


and that bar will be there in 2023!
